Winter Warmer Social Boulder Comps
Pulse Climbing is pumped for our upcoming Winter Warmer boulder competitions to be held in Gosford and Newcastle during August.
The Winter Warmer comps are for all climbing levels from beginner to crusher. They’re a fun and friendly way to be introduced to comp climbing and a great way to see how well you can mix it with some of the best in a comp environment without too much pressure.
The details are:
Gosford – Monday 14 August 6pm – 8:30pm
Newcastle – Monday 21 August 6pm – 8:30pm
There will be 4 divisions with male and female categories in each
- A – Climbing grades 8+
- B – Climbing grades 5-7
- C – Climbing grades 1-4
- Youth – 12 and under
Scoring:
- Top 8 climbs in 2 hours
- 10 points per grade. i.e. grade 4 will be worth between 40-49 with a 1 point bonus for a flash
Running Order:
- Briefing: 6pm
- Climbing starts: 6:15pm
- Climbing ends: 8:15pm
- Presentations: 8:30pm
