School Holiday Fun

Pulse Climbing is offering some great school holiday activities throughout the upcoming break. In association with the Hunter Festival of Sport we have a jam packed holiday calendar sure to get your pulse pumping.

Come and try day – Saturday July 2nd

Come and try indoor climbing at Newcastle’s heart of indoor climbing. Bring the kids, family and friends along and mention the Hunter Festival of Sport to receive $10 entry & free harness hire.

School Holiday Coaching Clinics

We are running a junior coaching clinic throughout the holidays. It’s open to anyone aged 12-18years, register soon to secure your spot. Email: info@pulseclimbing.com.au or ring the gym on: 4023 4743.
Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the School holidays from 9am – 12pm we will be running instructional clinics on climbing technique and training, and of course doing loads of climbing. The clinics include: free harness and shoe hire, fresh fruit snack, free entry to the Pulse Indoor Climbing Championships.

Cost is $150 for all six sessions or $25 for a one off session.

Rock Climbing Movie Night – Thursday July 14th

Extreme rock climbing movie night from 6pm. Come and be amazed by some of the world’s best climbers on the big screen. Entry is $10 and include a free sausage sizzle BBQ.

Pulse Indoor Climbing Championships – Saturday July 16th

Competition from 11am – 8pm. Juniors start at 11am, opens and masters start at 4pm. The comp will be a pump-fest format so there is points for volume and difficulty, so it’s open to novice and expert climbers alike. Registrations taken from 10.30am Juniors and 3pm opens and masters. Great prizes to be had in all categories, total prize pool is over $1000.
